VIKTOS Warehouse Fire: A Setback, Not a Stopping Point

VIKTOS WAREHOUSE IN JANESVILLE, WI SUFFERS FIRE INCIDENT ON FATHER’S DAY WEEKEND

JANESVILLE, WI - On the night of Father’s Day weekend, Saturday, June 14th, a fire broke out at a VIKTOS warehouse located off Foster Avenue in Janesville, Wisconsin. The facility, which housed VIKTOS’ photo studio, trade show displays, and select product assets, sustained significant damage. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Emergency responders from the Janesville Fire Department arrived promptly around 11 p.m., with visible flames already breaching the roof of the multi-unit commercial storage building. Firefighters swiftly deployed multiple handlines and utilized an aerial ladder to contain the blaze and protect neighboring units. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Janesville Fire Protection Bureau.

“We are incredibly thankful for the rapid response and professionalism shown by the Janesville Fire Department, along with the Lakeside Fire Department, Janesville Police Department, and Alliant Energy,” said Justin Fox, President of VIKTOS. “Their efforts prevented further loss, and—most importantly—ensured everyone’s safety.”

While the loss of our in-house photo studio and trade show materials presents a challenge, VIKTOS’ core operations, eCommerce fulfillment, and wholesale order processing remain fully operational and unaffected, as they are housed in separate locations and continue to run at full capacity.

“We’re no strangers to adversity,” Justin added. “This is a setback—not a stopping point. Our team has already initiated recovery plans, and we will be present and accounted for at the upcoming GOA Goals in August, as scheduled.”

This incident highlights the resilience of the VIKTOS brand and our commitment to mission-ready excellence. We remain focused on supporting our customers, first responders, military, and law enforcement professionals with the gear they trust, without interruption.
