Core Containment
Only been wearing a little over a month and I'm highly disappointed in the durability. I had high hopes for these as I've had and still have various other Viktos shoes and boots. Usually the soles wear out before the uppers, but these are just the opposite, soles barely show wear while the uppers are falling apart and look like shit already. I won't be buying this model again, especially for the price, should be 39.99.

Great workout shoe
I am used to wearing the standard Core workout shoe, but find these to be just as comfortable but also a little bit more sturdy. If I had to complain about anything it would be that the laces are way too long, need to be much shorter.

Duck Feet Dreams
I had a pair of Core 2s and was skeptical of the Core Containments based on the pictures because i got duck feet; narrow at he back and wide as hell at the toe. I ordered anyway because why not. Top 3 most comfortable and functional shoes I have ever bought.

Love this shoe- However
Really love the refinements in this shoe. Lightweight and much improved in the heel area where I got excessive wear with the Overbeach Low shoes. My only complaint is where the two materials are welded on the toe box are splitting / separating.

Fitment issue
Its certainly lightweight, and I'm sure it would make a good everyday sneaker or gym shoe for weight lifting. Unfortunately the fit is a little weird, at least for me. I bought these in an 11 (the size I've been most my life) and when they arrived, in lieu of trying them on, I held them up to my pair of Viktos Range Trainers and they looked to be the same size. With that test being sufficient in my mind, I took the tags off and *then* wore them and found that they were too small. Maybe my feet are just weirdly shaped, or changed shape, because although I greatly appreciated the wider toe box (as someone who seems to be somewhere between a "regular" and "wide") it felt like they traded length of the shoe for width and felt at least a half-size too small. Walking and going up stairs was very uncomfortable, and my toes felt cramped, especially so with my 2nd toe. I can't speak for its longevity or anything else, because I can't wear them for any lengthier period of time, but they certainly feel like a good shoe, they just don't fit or feel true to size. Because of the factors, I couldn't give it 4 or 5 stars, but 3 wouldn't be right either; 3.5 feels more fair. I'd normally exchange these for a 1/2 size up, but because I removed the tags I can't anymore.

Core Containment
After six weeks of gym use I'm generally happy with the shoe (3.5 stars). I like the wide toe box and the drop is perfect for me. It's a comfortable, good all-around workout shoe with very grippy sole and looks good to boot. A few changes I think would help: put some strapping mid-foot so you could lock your foot in if you need some extra lateral support (squats), I think a slightly firmer material in the heel would be good for reduced compression under load and like others have said, I'd get rid of the ridiculously long laces (c'mon guys - this is an easy fix)

Core containment
Worked out in them a couple of times so far. Comfortable, light, and seems to be well made. Fits true to size. My core 2 in mc black are still going after 4-5 years, but they are starting to separate at the sole a little. If these last that long I’d give em 5 stars.
