Johnny Combat Winter Boots
I wasn't necessarily skeptical but I decided maybe I shouldn't try being too hard on these boots at first. Even though they were heavy, I didn't know whether the build quality would be durable enough. I'm a sheet metal worker, and I'm very hard on my boots. I have to tell you, I waited 3 years to write this review, and I still have that same pair of boots. I don't really wear them during the nicer months of the year. But for about 8 months, I wear these boots almost every day at work, out on the trails, and anywhere it's wet. The insulation is not thick, but it works exceptionally well even up in the Sierra Nevada and Rocky mountains. I'm amazed at how well these things keep your feet dry and I have had them in an inordinate amount of water. They're just starting to show signs of wear between the sole and the body of this show itself, but that is completely expected given the heavy use. I couldn't more strongly recommend these boots. That's why I'm here to buy another pair. FYI they are indeed true to fit. They fit just like all my other size 12 footwear.

Johnny Winter Boot
This is my second year and I'm still impressed with the quality, the boots keep my feet dry and warm all day. I waited for a year before I got them and I suggest if your thinking about getting them just do it! No regrets.

Excelent quality
I'm going on year three with these and I have been very happy with both comfort and quality. In addition to daily use in the cooler months, they are my preferred boot for motorcycle rides.
