Sometimes you find yourself 75 klicks above the Do Lung bridge, neck deep in the black water suck of the Nung river. To help combat those long nights of chaos and psychedelics, we created the Upriver™ Boonie hat. It features a laser-perforated Multicam® chassis, allowing maximum ventilation in the densest triple-canopy or most crowded Flora-Bama bar. Interior pockets store foam earplugs for noise mitigation, and the adjustable chin strap keeps the upriver/operator connection tight as Dick's hatband.

Nice but kinda over priced
I like wearing boonies at the range and on outdoor adventures or hikes. This brim is thicker compared to most, and the boonie overall is heavier than my cheaper ones. I do like this boonie. I do recommend using a Scotch Guard before deciding to go out into a wet environment. These are well-made and do include a small pocket inside the hat. I wish that part were a little larger, and perhaps a velco would be an upgrade. I give this a 4-star because I don't see why this is so expensive when most boonies are about half this price for similar quality, and secondly, the size is a larger fit. I normally wear a large, but this is kinda loose and fits like an XL. This isn't a true-to-size fit.
