72-hours means different things to different people; post-apocalypse bug-out rucks, natural disaster prep, or loaded up for last-minute 'safaris' on foreign soil, your 72-hour go bag needs to be up to the mixed-mission challenge. The Perimeter™ 40 is built from a rugged nylon (500d Multicam® or 1000d Kodra) with a water-resistant coating, constructed around an aluminum reinforced full-length framesheet. At upwards of 40-liters internal volume, it can hold copious amounts of tactical kit, survival supplies, or civilian travel necessities (meets airline carry-on size requirements). The Perimeter 40 features a universal CCW pistol holster and multiple pistol/rifle magazine pockets should your particular 3-days involve unfriendlies. Additional tactical touches include resilient YKK® zippers with silent pullers, Duraflex® mil-spec hardware, and laser-cut MOLLE exterior panel. Should your 72-hours require constant comms with the home office, the bag is equipped with a padded 15" laptop sleeve and admin pocketing for work or school supplies. Two expandable side pockets keep an IFAK or water bottles close at hand, while an internal pocket and hose routing accommodate a 3L hydration bladder. Padded ergonomic shoulder straps and removable waist belt make the Perimeter 40 fully ruck-ready.

From a Perimeter 25 to a Perimeter 40
Purchased the Perimeter 40 in black after using the Perimeter 25 for three years and carrying it all over eastern Europe and the United States. I really liked the 25, but I was running out of space to carry all my everyday gear and my laptop. I didn't need a lot more room, just a little more to accommodate a water bottle, glasses case, pistol and holster, computer power cords, mouse power block, hot spot and all the apple accessory cords and blocks. I like the lay out of the 25 better than the 40. But I like the space of the 40. I am sure in time I will appreciate the layout. I would have liked the Perimeter 40 to be offered in the black multi-cam. Overall, the Perimeter 40 is a win.

Excellent bag! The quality is amazingly beyond my expectations. When I first explored the bag, I kept finding MORE pockets, so there is no shortage of space. The pack has held ALL of my EDC gear with ease, and now I have to look into getting more gear so I can utilize all the room. 10/10 product!

Great, but time will tell
Overall, this backpack is solid! There is no shortage of slots/sleeves for organization. The material is stout and the quality is brag worthy. My ONLY concern is the choice of plastic/polymer rings for the straps in leu of metal or directly sewn to the bag.
